Condo Sharing (MALE ONLY) in Makati City near waltermart

San Lorenzo, Makati
Room is conveniently located in Makati with accessible modes of transportation (Jeep / Taxis / Shuttle buses). It is close to glorietta (10minute walk), and right across the building will be Waltermart Makati and Don Bosco. Neighboring establishments are Makati Cinema Square. I personally walk to Ayala Avenue (just 15 minutes going to Paseo de Roxas cor Ayala Ave) It is also right beside the skyway entry and exit,, so going to Terminals 1/2/3 will just be from 12 - 15 minutes. room rate is 6,500 . Other bills such as water, electricity, and a portion of the internet bill/assoc dues will be shared by the roommates. ***note that the rate is higher than the usual room for rent rates, as there's only 3 of us sharing the room. It gives better breathing space for everyone and makes living 'decent' than tightly packed. 1. Shower with Heater 2. Ventilations (Fans + Aircon) 3. Refrigerator 4. Cookwares + cutleries 5. huge closet for sharing 6. 40 Mbps internet connection 7. Opaque Roller Blinds (so you can easily sleep during daytime) 8. BEd (double deck: lower deck queen size, upper deck single) 9. Dining Table 10. Access to Pool  11. Optional Access to Gym (500 a month. but really decent) ***As a roommate, it is expected that everyone has to contribute to keep the room clean and be very considerate to others around. :) cheers.

What to consider when looking for a room for rent?

Aside from affordability, there are other factors that you might want to consider when looking for a room for rent. Some of these are as follows:

  • Location and accessibility- How close is the room for rent to your workplace or school? Choosing a rental room with a slightly higher rental fee but is close to places you frequent such as the office or school will save you time and transportation cost. This is also important if you’re renting a room during your vacation. It is best to choose a room that is close to the tourist attractions you want to visit or is close to transportation terminals.

  • Space and comfort- Even if you are opting for a cheaper residential option, remember that your home should allow you to get a good night’s sleep and it should be a haven once you come home from work or school. So make sure that the space in your room, especially if it is shared with strangers, is large, comfortable, and safe. Aside from your bed and personal locker or cabinet, it is also best to consider the shared spaces in a room for rent you are considering such as the bathrooms, living areas, dining space, and kitchen.

  • Safety and security- The room you are renting could be in a house, apartment complex, or in a big condo. That means having to share the rest of the property with other occupants and their guests. Thus, it is important to practice being a good neighbor and roommate by being clean and neat at home, especially if you’re sharing it with strangers. Of course, it is also important to be more diligent in keeping your valuables stored away from plain view.

  • Cost- Rooms for rent will almost always be cheaper. Utilities such as electricity, water, phone, and internet are most likely included in the lease price. There are some landlords that include meals as well so you are getting a pretty good deal here.

If you are sharing a room with your roommates, this is a great opportunity for you to gain new friends especially if this is your first time in the metro and you don’t have friends in the area yet.
